The Journey begins

On Thursday February 24,2005 Kyle and Melody began a journey they never expected to take. Kyle had a brain seizure that put him in the hospital. After a night of tests it was determined by the doctors that Kyle had a brain aneurism that was very deep and that surgery would be need as soon as possible.

At just before midnight Friday, February, 25 Kyle was taken into surgery and approx, 6am he was out of surgery. What follows is an update from Melody regarding the prognosis and those ares where prayer is need:

"The weak spot in the artery is something he was born with, and it this point, ready to blow at any time. There was no cause, so praise God that we were both together in a safe place when it happened.

His aneurism was more complicated than anticipated, and could have caused immediate mental damage. Amazingly, to our knowledge, he had full mental capabilities before the surgery, and even after, the doctor noted that a full recovery is very possible. He is very tired, and he is in pain. He knows what happened, and seems to have taken it quite well. He is an amazing man of God, and among all this, he worries about me.

Please continue to pray for full recovery. These next two weeks are absolutely critical to his recovery, and there is possible of vaso-spasm (the vessels closing up), and mental impairments. I know God is a mighty God and he will take care of Kyle.

I am doing fine. My eyes are dried of tears, and the Spirit is holding me strong, somehow. Initially, the trauma was too much to bear, but he supplied me with physical and emotional strength I never had before. Thank you again. There is never too much prayer.

I want to say more, but I'm heading back to watch over Kyle. Just know, God has answered your prayers from day one (Thursday). He has answered each and ever prayer faithfully so far. Please share his amazing work with your non-believing friends. Praise God for this opportunity to share." Love, Melody~
