An update from Melody - Again a reminder that this is a long process for Kyle:

Well, we thought things were looking better for Kyle - getting ready to move him into another room and remove all of the cords and lines, so that he'll take everything orally and they won't wake him up every hour, but today he hit rock bottom emotionally, and it may be another day or so in the ICU.

Today Kyle was very irritated from lack of sleep (the nurses wake him up every hour to do "neuro-checks," just to make sure he's not suffered brain damage over time), and he's so tired and sleep deprived due to the last 10 days of events, that he just got up and out of bed today and fainted right in front of me.

As if this situation wasn't traumatic enough, his act of panic scared me most of all, and luckily, no lines came out, he woke right up, and he didn't hit his head. Please pray specifically for his patience with the recovery.

Even though he hasn't suffered any apparent damage, he HATES laying in bed awaiting recovery of the brain vessels. He is feeling like he may lose his mind. And the pain in his head is still there - as a result of surgery. So pray for PATIENCE and FAITH and UNDERSTANDING.

Otherwise, physiologically, he's doing very well! So, thank you for your prayers - God hasn't let any detail go unnoticed. That was especially evident today.

Love,Melody
