A wonderful message for Melody:

Well, great news!

Kyle was discharged from Neuro ICU late last night, and he's moved on to a nice, quiet, private room where his neurochecks will be less frequent (probably every four hours instead of one), and all of the leads and cords came off - so they're confident his vitals are strong and he's making a great recovery. Not to mention, he's got a nice harbor/ocean view of Newport Beach there on the ninth floor. : )

The doctor is very pleased and confident of his recovery, so please keep praying that no mental faculty will be compromised in all of this, as there is still some time that needs to pass before everything can be considered normal again.

Also, he finally got up with the help of the physical therapist yesterday, and his steps were initially wobbly, but he's getting back on track with sitting and walking - considering he's lost a lot of his strength through the trauma of the surgery and the bed rest for almost two weeks now.

Thanks for all of your prayers. He will hopefully come home soon and be able to rest easy in his own home. God is such a good God - he's faithfully answered EVERY prayer of ours in all of this. : )

P.S. Also, Kyle's vasospasms are still there, but there are steadily decreasing, which is why he was able to transfer up to a normal floor.
